Notgrass’s middle school American history and literature course, America the Beautiful, is the backbone for this weekly class. Each class provides history facts reviews and drills, geography work, critical thinking exercises, current events reports, literature discussion, and writing and grammar instruction. As a final project, students will create notebooks demonstrating logical fallacies found in advertisements, news stories, and self-created memes. Class size is limited to 15 students.
